TRAVEL

I never miss an opportunity to go anywhere, for any reason, be it business or pleasure.

My latest trip was to the Azores, a small archipelago in the Mid-Atlantic that is an autonomous region of Portugal.

FOOD & COOKING

I am passionate about cooking, especially for others. I enjoy how food and culture influence each other and the sense of community that sharing a meal can create across cultural boundaries

FERMENTATION & BREWING

I appreciate brewing and the science and cultural history around fermentation. Pictured here is a traditional cider I brewed.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE STUDIES

My fiance and I are currently taking Italian classes! I've always regretted never being fluent in another language, but it's never too late to start. We spent some time in Italy about two years ago and would love to learn the language to further enrich our experience on our next trip. I'm a firm believer in continued education throughout ones life.

Hiking & the outdoors

I take advantage of any chance I get to be outdoors and in nature throughout all seasons. I feel rejuvenated after a quiet and calm reflection in nature. I relish pushing my limits and testing my physical abilities on long-distance treks.
